SaaS you can actually flip through.
Most SaaS directories are graveyards. Duplicate listings, dead links, stale screenshots, paid-for placement dressed as editorial. MySaaSCards is a small correction to that.
How we work
Every card in the deck is hand-picked by a human. We use these tools, or the person who added them uses them. The tool has to earn a spot; a friendly PR from a founder isn't enough on its own.
Once a card is in the deck, its Live Signals panel updates on a schedule — GitHub star counts and latest releases every six hours, Hacker News threads every hour, Reddit chatter every two hours, changelog RSS every 24. Nothing is manually maintained because manual maintenance decays into stale.
What we won't do
We don't accept payment to move a card up a category ranking. We don't pretend paid listings are editorial. We don't strip a card of its Live Signals to hide unflattering data (a low star count, no HN mentions, a dead changelog — all show through).
Sponsored placements exist — they fund the site. Every one of them is labelled with a Sponsored badge, and they only appear in specific slots (Editor's picks, category top, homepage hero). Live Signals data is never touched by sponsorship.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links carry an affiliate parameter. If you click through and buy a subscription, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. This has zero effect on ranking or Live Signals — it just helps keep the lights on. When a link is an affiliate one, the card page says so explicitly under the visit button.
Data sources & credits
Live Signals are powered by:
- GitHub REST API — stars, releases, contributors
- Hacker News Algolia API — recent threads mentioning each product
- Reddit public JSON — mentions in relevant subs, with a light sentiment tag
- Product Hunt GraphQL v2 — launch data and vote counts
- RSS changelogs where the product publishes one — last-updated signal
Logos via Clearbit with a Google favicon fallback. Descriptions written by us, occasionally with Wikipedia as background.
Who runs this
MySaaSCards is a founder-run project. We're not a directory conglomerate, we're not backed by an SEO farm, we're not building this as a lead-gen play for an unrelated agency. If a card feels wrong or something looks broken, the fastest way to reach us is [email protected] — and we read every one.
